Doug Hall, a writer who lives in S. California with his wife and two children has released a new book, largely inspired by his passion for God and compassion for humanity. Doug’s latest book, “Finding My Way Home” is an allegorical story based on Doug’s experiences of seeing the work of God firsthand in his own life to restore hope, allow room for forgiveness, remove anger and provide contentment, meaning and purpose.
Doug Hall’s hope is readers can admit their need for healing and find their true purpose as they follow protagonist Cliff Collins on his life journey to find deep contentment, meaning, and significance. In the plot of the novel, Cliff has come to realize that although he has everything the world said would bring him satisfaction and contentment, he is empty and lost. He is fearful, frustrated, and fatigued. Thus begins his quest for truth and purpose in his life.
For years, now, Doug Hall has been writing posts to his blog, The Well, which he uses as his opportunity to share the impact that his relationship with God has had in his life with others in a practical way that can be applied throughout their own lives to bring the change that he has experienced. His writing is designed to provide a counter-narrative to a divisive and negative agenda seen throughout today’s media.
Having found success in business, Doug has since used that success to help a range of causes he cares about, such as feeding, clothing, and educating orphaned children in Uganda and keeping children out of Orphanages in Mexico through his locally-based partners. He is a global traveler, who aims to use his experiences through his motivational Christian blog and writings to help others find encouragement and hope in their own personal emotional health and faith journeys.
